Tonight

Of late, Joe has been into the Eskimo kisses. After stories, Julie and Joe exchanged nearly 10 Eskimo kisses before the Dada Bus was called. Also of late, Joe calls it, and then leaps off the couch as it motors into view. Julie thinks it is so he can have what is clearly a moment of joy when he is swept up by Ted.

Clara goes down for the night well in advance of Joe. Tonight, when the Dada Bus rumbled in with Joe, we found her sacked out in one of Joe's favorite poses, with her arms tucked behind her head. Briefly, Joe was in this same position!

When Julie leaned over to tuck him in, he said, "Do it again." A single, additional Eskimo kiss was exchanged. Julie blew Joe a kiss, and Joe blew on back tonight! Julie caught it up and tucked it up to her heart.

Then, she dashed upstairs to capture this Hallmark-card string of events here. That's when Joe began wailing. She trudged back downstairs to find out what had "fallen" to the floor. She found that the whole of Joe's animal kingdom had been evicted--and it would seem forcibly so--from his bed. Eskimo kisses were dispensed to all as they were returned to the fold, and now Our Hero is serenading them with Weather Watcher.
