Big Bird down

Readers, your regular narrator, Julie woke up in the middle of the night sick and was thus rendered out of service for the day. In the morning, she summoned the energy to nurse Clara and read a few books while the boys got ready for the day. And then at bedtime she had Joe bring his books upstairs and read in bed with her, which he thought was a great idea because it meant he could snuggle under the covers. We are hoping the rest of the flock stays healthy and that the big bird gets her wings soon.
