In the vagaries column, you will recall, Dear Readers, that Clara awoke all save Our Hero with screams suggesting appendages were missing from her body early Sunday morning. As you may have guessed, she still has possession of all her limbs, but she is also the proud owner of one additional tooth. Baby Bird has been, for at least a week, now, gnawing on everything in sight. She even made off with a purple lady bug teether from the Infant D room Wednesday evening. She concealed it until we were home when it was revealed, and now she has told us that she and it are not to be parted. By Sunday night, the tooth on the bottom to the right of the front two (aka the lower right lateral incisor) had just broken through. Sunday night was more restful for all.

The Purple Lady Bug Bandit Gets a Tooth
