Big Boy in a Big Boy Bed

Tonight was another milestone for Joe - sleeping in his bed without a bedrail. We took it off his bed before bath time tonight, and he was very excited the rest of the night - often reminding Julie and Ted that he was a big boy and didn't need his bedrail anymore. This milestone was reached not by design but because Joe managed to break the bedrail after about 12 months of evenings spent carousing in bed kicking and pushing on the bedrail for fun while belting out tunes, taking off his pajamas, and rehashing his day's feats and disappointments before finally collapsing into a deep slumber. Here you see him in the deep slumber, sans shirt and sans bedrail. (As you can see Neaky, Panda, Blankie, Elephant, and Teddy aren't alloted much space by the Big Boy.)
