Fans, you may recall that one of the consequences for Joe for running or screaming in the house in the post-dinner but pre-bed minutes was no hanging out with Ted upstairs while Julie read books with Clara. Since Our Hero has pulled it out two nights in a row now--and in the face of Clara's squeals (such temptation!--it's all you want after coming home from a day at school: a nice dinner with the family, your pajamas, some books, your pillow, and some screaming), the Boys have been back at the upstairs fun. In the wake of Christmas, when Joe received the game Cooties, the Boys were playing that. Though there were only two of them, they would build all four bugs, and then Joe would scatter them about upstairs--peeking out from under the bed, or the bookcase; maybe waiting next to the filing cabinet. But lately, they have been making snowflakes (or once, rocket ships--one looked suspiciously like a snowflake). Then, before coming back downstairs, they let them go from the top of the steps to watch them flutter down and see whose lands furthest from the drop point. At this point, we have a lot of snowflakes. This weekend, we taped them up to the windows. One entire living room window is filled. W're working on the dining room window now.

Has Ted taught Joe the snowflake song from our St. John's Nursery School years? There are only four lines, Joe should get it in 5 seconds:
