And Then (Again). . .

And then, the sun comes out again. Today was rather lovely. While Ted made waffles, Joe flittered around on the floor, and Clara flittered around on the bed. She has long been able to climb up the step stool by Joe's bed all by herself, and when she saw a bin of clothes from the closet, some of which Julie was transferring to a dresser drawer, she climbed on up and was in it up to her elbows. By the time it was all over, she was decked out in her diaper and pajama top, with her fleece, and swim shorts.

We took Joe and Clara on a playdate, where they behaved so well, we might just very well be asked back again! We went on a "pumpkin [bike] ride (which is when you ride about the neighborhood on your bike or in your buggy and look for pumpkins). While Clara was taking a bath, Julie ironed, and Joe did his 48-piece dinosaur puzzle all by himself, at her feet, with such focus. . .Fans, you should have seen him. You should have seen him!

And then, Julie was sitting down at the computer to write these posts, and as Joe was heading down to take his bath, he turned at the top at the top of the stairs, came back, and gave her a hug. No words.
