We saw Aunt Kate off to her regular nest this morning. Here is Clara upon her arrival back at her nest, toes out in protest. It remains to be seen whether Joe understood this morning that his Aunt (and bunkmate) Kate will not be here upon his arrival home and across the way when he wakes up in the morning. As for the rest of us, I think it's fair to say our hearts are heavy. It was like living with fairies! A pick-me-up treat was for sure in order and that's why this poster has already eaten the top layer of a bag of Orange Milanos, and is starting in on the second layer.

Aunt Kate Flies the Coop
We saw Aunt Kate off to her regular nest this morning. Here is Clara upon her arrival back at her nest, toes out in protest. It remains to be seen whether Joe understood this morning that his Aunt (and bunkmate) Kate will not be here upon his arrival home and across the way when he wakes up in the morning. Just to be clear, this fairy arrived at 2908 Raleigh Ave. to find the house immaculately clean, the groceries all stocked in and menus planned for every lunch & dinner of my stay. I always say, I'm a good worker bee, maybe not such a great planner/decision maker, and so am well suited to the role of two extra hands & two (four!) extra eyes.
