Joe was given a red duck ("Duck") by his Grandma Jane. Duck has long lived in Joe's crib. Recently, Grandma Connie brought a yellow duck (which actually has acquired the moniker "Big Duck"), and it now lives in Joe's crib as well, though they often travel to exotic locales like the porch as well. Big Duck is actually a sort of travel pillow of which we have a gorilla as well. Gorilla (who goes by "Gorilla") is usually assigned to Daddy's care. But the Big Duck always hangs with Joe. Duck, Big Duck, and Joe are very much a threesome right now. (We think Big Duck, following Gorilla's arrival as it did, may have been intended for Clara. We hope she likes her a gorilla.)

One Duck, Two Duck, Red Duck, Yellow Duck
