T Minus 39 Days

Fans, it's 39 days until Halloween.  We know because when Julie was at Target with the bambini yesterday, Joe would not rest until it had been determined exactly how long it would be until he could wear his white GI Joe ninja costume.  The white GI Joe ninja has a name.  Something like Storm Shadow or Storm Whisper or White Storm. . .something stealthy sounding.  Joe knows what a ninja is, though is not familiar with this particular ninja.  However, this Storm Surge packs a sword, and that's really all Our Hero needed to know.  The sword sealed the deal.

Clara will be dressing up as the fairy Tiana.  Really probably any princess or fairy costume would have sufficed.  Birdie may have been a little breathless viewing the options.  Sadly, dressing up as every princess and fairy all at once was not an option.  The Tiana costume was rounded out with the addition of a tiara when Clara (and Joe) immediately pointed out that Tiana was wearing a crown in her picture on the package.  (Too true.)

So we are set to trick-or-treat.  Only 39 days to go.
