Late Night Valet

Clara is still working hard on staying dry at night, but she is 50:50 at best right now. This means that recently, somewhere between 1am and 3am, Ted has been awoken gently by Clara whispering, "Daddy, you need to get me new pants."  And so we both head to her room where she gets out of her wet pants and sleepily pulls on new ones while Ted strips the bed and puts down new absorbent pads and a sheet. Often in the minute of waiting, Birdie will flop onto the blanket on the floor and close her eyes as shown here, with Bubba as a handy pillow.  She is doing her best and solves the problem as best she can, we just hope she can turn a corner soon. Julie gave her more encouragement tonight and also suggested walking around to Mommy's side for help once in a while so we can all share in the fun.
