So That's O-kay

Ted reports that when he arrived home yesterday with Joe and Clara, Joe said, "I made a new friend today!"  The new friend is, apparently, a friend of Aaron's (again, perhaps he is good people)  who is in Mrs. Hanson's room.  Mrs. Hanson is the other all-day kindergarten teacher.  The kids in the two all-day kindergarten rooms have gym together.  Ted also reports that when Joe was showing Clara his room and hook outside of it, Joe caught sight of Mrs. Hanson down the hall and called out hello to her.

Ted also reports that this morning, at drop off, Joe arrived at the same time as another Kid's Placer who is also in Mrs. Dvorak's room.  Her name is Audrey and she likes to color in the morning.  She and Joe fell into step together.  Ted says that clearly Audrey's thing is to watch her dad out the window as he leaves.  Ted had been reading a book to Joe, but this morning, Joe had joined Audrey at the window.  He was there as Ted left, but by the time Ted was outside, he noticed that Audrey was gone--and thus Joe was, too.  His own small leave-taking, but that's o-kay.  That's o-kay.

We caught him on the flip.  Today, when Julie arrived with Clara to pick Joe up, he ran to them and climbed up Julie and held on the way he used to do at KinderCare.
