It's Show Week, Sweetie

In other news (it's true, other things have happened while Joe has been peeing and pooping on the potty), it was Show Week at Little Gym. Thus, Saturday was synonymous in Joe's mind with Medal Day. Sara came over to keep watching over the sleeping Bird, and Julie went with the boys to Little Gym where she got to see all of the barely controlled chaos and its various players on which Ted usually reports over lunch live and in person. For sure Julie's favorite part of the whole class was the very beginning when she heard the "How Do You Do Super Beasts? How Do You Do?" song, just after Teacher Kayla asked each child to say his or her name and whom he or she had brought to class. Joe said his name loud and clear, and told the group he'd brought Mommy and Daddy. Teacher Kayla had been asking all of the kids if they could tell everyone their Mommy's or Daddy's (or Grandma's, or what have you's) name. When Teacher Kayla asked what Joe's Mommy's name was, Joe replied, "Sweetie." (Daddy was Ted.) For sure the highlight for Joe was the acquisition of another medal. So Joe collected his medal, five stamps (all paws and his belly), and then he and Sweetie and Ted headed for home.
