Bird At Rest

In the wake of the end of daylight savings time and the latest onslaught by the germs, Bird's sleep had gotten a little out of whack: the morning nap was going forever (like a continuation of nighttime sleep), and she was fighting her afternoon nap and bedtime. By afternoon nap time, she was bright-eyed and bushy-tailed from sleeping away the morning, and by bedtime, she was overtired because she'd not had a proper afternoon siesta. So we bumped her already early 6:45pm bedtime up to 6:15pm last night and tonight, and even after just last night, her naps were better. She went down easily for both, she woke from the morning nap on her own at two hours, and the afternoon nap was over an hour. She let's out a good SQUAWK! when she's first put down in her crib at 6:15pm, but she's tapped out and asleep within five minutes. In other words, she's ll squawk.
