As avid Joe and Clara Jane readers know, Joe is fond of a cleaning implement or gardening tool, with perhaps his favorite being a broom. So great, in fact, was his love for the outside broom that it had to be removed from plain view and squirreled away behind the ladder in the garage. But baby's got a brand new bag! Roller. Roller had previously been off limits as Julie would store it with a fresh sticky sheet exposed and knew this would stymie Our Hero as he tried (in vain) to push it along the floor. But this past weekend, Joe spied it when it had just been used, grabbed it, and was off and rolling (yes, Fans, it must be written). So now the roller is stored not at the ready for its intended purpose so it can be at the ready for Joe.

Roller: The New Broom

But this past weekend, Joe spied it when it had just been used, grabbed it, and was off and rolling (yes, Fans, it must be written). With the Cubs shirt on and all, he looks like the guy on his way to the last game of a home stand when the Cubbies have already taken the first two and are thus on the verge of a sweep. "Yes", he seems to be saying, "most people bring a broom, but my mom hid mine so I grabbed the next best thing. Deal with it."
