Play Date-A-Palooza

This weekend was a play date-a-palooza.  One or both of the bambini often have at least one play date a weekend, but this weekend, it just so happened that between the two of them, they had four.  You may be relieved to know that we will dispense with the blow-by-blow, Fans, since after five years with us, you know how a play date goes down.  But we do note in the nearly four years since we've had our little girl, we've had fewer all-girl play dates, perhaps since we already had a boy in our mix.  Having noted that, we should also note that that play dates with all girls are different from play dates with all boys, or boys and girls.  They seem to involve more shrieking and jumping up and down and hugging.  Clara hosted her friend Silvia Saturday morning after swimming lessons.  After the girls had shrieked, jumped up and down, and hugged, Clara asked if they could go to the park and frankly, we think Berenice was pretty relieved.  Berenice a girl, and can bark it up with the best of them, but she's in her golden years and she needs her rest.
