Of Valentines (and Tomatoes)

In Valentine's Day finery, striking the usual poses (CHEEEEESE!!!!!)
Joe and Clara have had valentines and packages arriving all week, including scepters that light up when they are hit against something hard from their Grandparents Trump.  (Theirs is a joyous reign.)  Last night, Julie asked Joe if he thought he would get some more valentines.  He said, "Well, I'll get one at the party."  Julie said, "Candy?"  That follow-up question prompted this mini-monologue from Joe:  "Yeah.  Candy.  Because candy means love.  Also flowers.  Flowers mean love.  But not tomatoes.  They're just a vegetable.  A food."

Our valentine to you, Dear Fans.

  1. Ah, but tomatoes are also known as love apples. So they are much, much more than just a vegetable!
