Birdie Makes Some Calls

We should tell you that Clara is quite taken with the phone these days, or what she considers to be the phone.  Any remote control will do, and as with all things, when she decides what she thinks, there's no convincing her otherwise.  Thus, you can tell her that her phone is a remote control and she will merrily show you that you really don't know what you're talking about.  The remote control in Duluth was apparently a direct line to Grandpa Charles, as he seemed to be the only person she could raise on the thing.  We told her to give him our love.
