Also while we were on hiatus, Clara began rocking the double pony. She was sporting them when Julie picked Birdie up on Friday which was, incidentally, the day Julie had managed to stop by the Target and find the hair elastics for the tot set. Not a moment too soon as Birdie has requested "ponies"* every day now save this morning when we were behind schedule and so Julie pretty much didn't even allow for ponies to be mentioned. (Guiding Birdie's wisps into respectable ponies while she turns this way and that way takes a few minutes.)*What she says sounds like "my my ponies," which, translated, might be "I want ponies."
